A Collector's Approach to Ownership

I acquired this 750iL in July 2025 as part of my personal BMW collection. I was drawn to its low mileage, remarkably preserved original interior, and the opportunity to own one of BMW's most significant flagship sedans.

Since acquiring the car, I have driven it approximately 900 miles, exclusively as a collector vehicle rather than daily transportation.

My objective was not simply to improve its appearance. I wanted to address its mechanical needs, preserve its original character, and return it to the level of refinement expected of BMW's V12 flagship.

Over the course of my ownership, I invested extensively in mechanical servicing, suspension and brake refurbishment, ignition and intake-system work, fluid services, and the restoration of original interior equipment.

The work was performed with the assistance of established BMW specialists and is supported by service invoices and parts records.

An Exceptional Original Interior

Perhaps the most compelling feature of this 750iL is its remarkably preserved original interior.

The cabin remains in near-perfect condition, retaining the materials, craftsmanship, and appointments that distinguished BMW's flagship sedan when new.

Even the original BMW analog telephone remains installed in the center console—a wonderful reminder of an era when a built-in car phone represented the height of automotive luxury.

All interior features and equipment function as intended.

The car has also been maintained in a smoke-free and pet-free environment, helping preserve the interior's condition.

Rather than modernizing the cabin or replacing its original equipment, I have made a deliberate effort to retain its period-correct appearance and functionality.

Mechanical Care Beyond Cosmetic Presentation

Anyone familiar with the E32 750iL knows that the sophistication of BMW's M70 V12 and its supporting systems requires proper maintenance.

During my ownership, substantial attention has been given to the areas that matter most for long-term enjoyment and confidence in the car.

This work has included:

Suspension refurbishment, including Bilstein dampers, springs, control arms, and rear self-leveling suspension components.

Brake-system servicing, including calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, and related components.

Intake manifold resealing and ignition-system servicing, including distributor components, ignition wires, and all 12 spark plugs.

Engine oil, transmission fluid, and differential fluid services.

Transmission sealing repairs, crankshaft position sensor replacement, and related mechanical work.

Restoration of the original BMW radio and factory amplifier.

Replacement of the headliner using BMW fabric.

This was not a superficial detailing exercise. It was a deliberate investment in the mechanical systems, comfort, and original equipment that make the 750iL special.

Two Sets of BMW Wheels

The car is currently presented with genuine BMW Style 37 M Parallel wheels, which have been professionally powder-coated and fitted with new Bridgestone tires.

These wheels provide a tasteful, BMW-correct upgrade that complements the E32's classic lines.

Importantly, the sale also includes the original 15-inch BBS wheels and tires, allowing the next owner to return the car to its original wheel configuration.

Preserved Character, Honest Presentation

The exterior has been repainted previously and presents to a high standard. There is no visible evidence of rust.

The car retains its original interior, factory analog telephone, BMW owner's manuals, and service records.

A CARFAX report shows no reported accidents or damage and no indicated odometer discrepancies.

The car is offered with documentation of its extensive recent maintenance and refurbishment.
