Original BMW dealer-issued factory repair manual, Bestell-Nr. 01 51 9 699 551, covering the full 02-series lineup including the fuel-injected 2002tii. This is the genuine factory manual, not one of the common reprints — the part number stamped on the Volume 1 cover confirms authenticity.

Overall excellent condition, all pages present, lightly used. Some age spotting on pages adjacent to plasticized section dividers, some seam separation and minor wear at corners/edges consistent with age.

Purchased new from a BMW dealer in the early 1970s and in my possession ever since — single owner, 50+ years. I bought the set while in college, driving and maintaining a BMW 2002 myself, so this manual was used for careful, deliberate DIY work rather than heavy shop use. Life happens, however, so these were boxed up during a move in 1993 and stored in a cool, dry place until being recently opened.

Both volumes together cover complete factory specs, tolerances, and repair procedures for engine, fuel/electrical systems (including tii mechanical fuel injection), transmission (including 5-speed), suspension, brakes, and body — the full range from the base 1502 through the performance 2002tii.
