2010 X5 35d diesel

For sale is an exceptionally well-maintained BMW. If you are interested in buying a well-running, nice-looking, and exceptionally well-maintained used BMW, then this is it. Said another way, this car is not being sold because it has some problem I don’t want to fix. It is excellent running and driving condition. The car is located in the Sacramento, CA, area.

This X5 diesel has the beautiful, and desirable, Saddle Brown leather. The exterior is Alpine White. It is a 3-row SUV, so it can seat up to 7 passengers. I have owned the car since 2013 when it had approximately 38k miles on it. This is an unexpected sale. I had planned to keep this car until 300k miles. What that really means is that anything it needed it got, and then some!

If you know about the fears of owning a diesel BMW, one big expense occurs when the DPF (exhaust soot filter) clogs and needs to be replaced. This has been done! When parts were replaced, they were replaced with factory-spec parts, not Autozone parts or parts from Amazon. Here is a list of parts replaced in the past few years:

-New DPF and DEF Active tank at 158k miles
-ALL new suspension (control arms, bushings, tie rod ends, shocks, sway bar end links) at 170k miles
-Replaced glow plugs and glow plug module and resealed the intake tract, new engine management sensors, new coolant reservoir, new coolant hoses, rebuilt seals in vacuum pump… all at 168k miles
NOTE: These were not failing, but I tend to replace parts before they fail so the car is perfectly reliable.
-New engine mounts at 170k miles
-New tires (all 4) at 179k miles
-New Xenon headlight bulbs at 179k miles

This is just a sample of work done on this BMW over the years. Again, aside from a headlight bulb burning out, these were not replaced because the car was trashed. They were replaced as a way to keep this thing on the road for a long time.

Regular maintenance has been performed:
-Engine oil changes every 5,000 miles with Pennzoil Platinum Euro L
-Engine air filters and cabin air filters replaced every year
-Front and rear differentials and transfer case had fluid changed at about 170k miles
-New diesel fuel filter at 170k miles
