BMW E12 528i Last of the First Fives survivor project car For Sale

This is one of the last surviving 528i E12's made as one of the "First Fives" 1972-1981.
Sapphire blue with blue cloth interior that needs replacing.
1 owner car that needs some TLC as a project car.
It is a rare automatic tranny with the M30B28 181hp engine.
The car is mechanically sound and last used a year ago. Passes CA smog every time with low numbers.
The A/C does not work (poor when new) and I moved to Arizona.
Originally bought at Concord BMW in CA. in December 1981, Xmas present for mom.
I had a stroke 2yrs ago and can no longer work on it and need to sell.
There is a new in the box OEM NOS driveshaft never unboxed and was the last one available.
The driver side door was hit by a bicycle so needs repair, handle, lock and window are working.
It was a daily driver when in CA and shipped to AZ in 2025 where it currently sits.
This a pick up only car in Tucson Az. Have title and last registration/smog in CA.
