Description
Hi! Thanks for looking! This is my amazing 335xi! I bought it as a project in 2015 up in Reno from local salvage yard. Damage was limited to the front passenger corner and very minor (pass door, fender, front bumper, wheel, adaptive HID headlight, and various airbags). All parts have been replaced with Factory BMW parts or OE equivalent, down to the airbag rivets. Car was inspected and certified road-worthy in NV by the DMV.
Car has every imaginable mod, is an absolute thrill to drive. Just a short list includes:
Xtant/Soundstream/Mobridge MOST audio w/DSP and time correction
M3 paddles
H&R coil-overs/GC camber plates/full GC spherical links/ECS trailing arms/Syncros sphericals FLCAs/OE sphericals/Hotchkis hollow rear s/b and frt Powerflex bushes/SF bushes/
TSW Genevas 19x9.5 and 19x8/5 (I also have a NIB set of MOMO RF Anzios, bronze, same sizes that I can include at additional cost and will also be listing separately)
Stoptech ST60/40 frt/rr calipers w/380f and 355r 2-pc rotors
17t turbos/Turbosmart Recirc BOVs/ALL inlet/outlet plumbing is VRSF w/VRSF 7.5 intercooler
Walbro 274
OEM Index 12 injectors
Manzo exhaust
Dinan coilpacks
STEEL M3 style bulged hood
M-Sport front bumper and supporting hardware
MHD w/JB4 tune
XHD 6hp tune w/XDelete tune for AWD
***currently AZ titled***
LOTS more...
With that said, car needs some love. Minor stuff. Cowl needs replaced (I have all the parts). Could use respray on front. There is an airbag light on, which is most likely a damaged airbag module from missing cowl parts and resulting leak. There is an ABS light on from right rear speed sensor malfunction, that I think is a dirty CV signal ring. Finally, space is tight near the inlets and the original VRSF silicone inlet I installed on the car wore a hole and causing pressure loss on the front turbo resulting in a waste-gate rattle. If you have time, and want it all just right, I would pull it and have it repaired. It does not seem to make one bit of difference in the performance of the car, other than the rattling which subsides once warm.
These are small repairs any competent N54/55 DIY'r can solve with very little expense except time. The car is gorgeous. Interior still looks brand-new and everything works, even the sunroof and the seat-belt handoffs. Stereo SQ is awesome, custom 'glassed 12" sub that is space-conscious, and plenty LOUD.
This car is an absolute monster, looks the part, and constantly makes me regret I'm just too lazy to work on it anymore, and too tied up in my current e88 135i anyway. While this may resemble a kid's car, DO NOT buy this car for your kid; because they will kill themselves, and probably someone else, as well as ruin a beautiful car.
My laziness and love for the marque (until recently, I had a Z4 3.0, and still have my 135, a 325xi suspension-modded wagon I'll also be selling, and this). BMWs were my Dad's favorite car, and I never realized why, until this particular one took ahold of me. I'm smitten and I'm hoping you will be too. I'm asking just a bit more for the whole car than what the StopTech brake mod alone cost; so, I'm in the mood to make a GREAT deal to someone on their own BMW path, but I'm not in the mood to fool around, so please keep it in mind.
I am happy to answer any additional questions, or bench race, so please reach out!
Again, thanks for looking, and take care!
