E46 M3 Convertible | 6-Speed

Let’s get the big three out of the way. VANOS, rod bearings, and subframe. In April 2024 I had a post purchase inspection at BMW of Raleigh (formerly Leith BMW). VANOS and subframe inspected; no issues found. To confirm no issues with the rod bearings I had a Blackstone Labs oil analysis completed, no issues noted. I addressed deferred maintenance items, detailed receipts available. In June 2024 I had a 6 speed manual conversion completed by Atlas Motor Co. in Raleigh, NC. They are BMW specialists, who were recommended to me by my service advisor at BMW of Raleigh. All OEM parts were used in the manual conversion, including a new clutch.

There are some minor cosmetic blemishes, including curb rash on the wheels, rock chips and four Euro plate holes on the front bumper. Overall it is in very good condition with some normal wear that is consistent with the age of the car.

I had never owned a convertible and had always admired the E46 M3, so I purchased it to enjoy for a year and have the experience. I think it’s been a lot of fun. I had not planned on the manual conversion, but it only made the car better. All documentation from the work I’ve had done is available and the previous owner provided receipts for suspension work he had done in January 2024.
