I’m selling my 2001 BMW e46 M3 s54. 6-speed manual (6MT).

Carbon Schwarz on Black Leather.

Clean Ohio Title in owner’s name. Carfax shows 1 minor accident in 2002.

BMW CCA member since 2015. I’ve owned 5 e46’s.

I bought this M3 in 2017. Was a weekend driver for a few years, then I got more interested in the track. Started conversion to a full track/race car.

- Big 3 are done.
- Blew the rod bearings on the original 185k mi engine. Got a replacement engine with 85k miles. Bullet-proofed the entire powertrain/drivetrain (rod bearings, VANOS, rear subframe, all metal bushings).
- Interior has been removed.
- Most of the work was completed by Bimmerhaus in Broomfield, CO.

The bad news: the bodywork on the car is in not great shape. Dents and dings. Metal plate over sunroof opening. Would benefit from a carbon fiber roof and a good body work person.

The good news: it drives like a bat out of hell all day long.

Unfortunately, I have neither the time or the money to complete the conversion in the way the car deserves. I will continue to drive my e46 330 for now.

Highlights:

- Replaced every control arm, bushing, wheel bearing, strut, sway bars.
- Replaced VANOS, rod bearings, timing chain, water pump, thermostat, clutch, power steering hose.
- Reinforced rear subframe.
- Replaced every fluid many times.
- Added CSF radiator, Mishimoto electric fan, Ground Control camber plates, Trackspec hood vents.
- Added ECS stud kit, BimmerWorld TA5R Flow Form Wheel 18x10 ET25 Gloss Black (square), 285/30ZR-18 FALKEN AZENIS RT660 SL (significant tread left).
