E39 S62 Touring

I built an E39 M5 touring that BMW never put into production (only 1 built by them officially). I sourced a 2000 M5 donor and transferred everything that made that car special into a rare (in North America) 2003 540i M-Sport touring (1 of approx 184). This included, but not limited to, its S62 engine, 6-speed transmission, lsd differential, steering box, brakes front and rear, rear swaybar, and extended leather dash, center console, sun visors, front door panels, and front seats. Various duct work, relays, cluster, etc were also used from the donor to make this as factory-correct as possible. The main part not transferred over was the rear trunk floor for accommodate the dual mufflers. This was done in an effort to keep the spare tire in place as this was still a “family “ car.
