Louisville Concours D'Elegance – Sunday, October 5, 2014 http://www.louisvilleconcours.com/ I would like to have a classic BMW represented at the show this year. I'm recruiting for class #16-Survivors, and the car needs to be at least 80% un-restored and as original as possible. Consideration will be given for appearance, rarity, and presence. For instance, a well driven 507 might be chosen for acceptance over a pristine 2002. It's a plus if the car has been previously shown. If you have a classic BMW or know someone who does, follow the link above for forms and information. There are no fees for submission and many perks if your car is accepted. Class #16 is open to all makes from 1946-1973, and as a point of interest BMW's took first and second in class last year, a Z1 and a Z3 M Coupe (sports and grand touring class). The venue is at French lick Resort, and is like nothing else on the circuit. If rain threatens, the entire show can be brought inside into walled pavilions with quality HID lighting, which happened last year. Show came off without a hitch and no one got wet. The resort there is historic and well worth a visit. Exhibitors receive discounted room rates and a few meals.
