Last week I talked about how I used Louie the 2002tii to troubleshoot Old Blue’s wipers so that I could get Blue inspected, swapping parts until determining that Blue’s wiper relay was bad. I was able to repair the wiper relay, so in the end, all wiper-related parts were back in their original cars—and Blue, for the first time in a decade, had been registered, insured, and inspected.

May is the anchor month of the Rocky Mountain Chapter Spring Driving School. This year our chapter added a new element to the mix in the form of time trials, held separately under BMW CCA Club Racing jurisdiction.

It’s been a pretty wild Louie-centric four months. You could even say, to make the obvious joke, it’s been Louie, Louie, Louie. But what do I do now that the book about Louie’s resurrection and road trip home (Ran When Parked) has been published, and I’ve largely completed his sort-out and shepherded him the 2150 miles to and from the Vintage?
