I was reading Cycle World editor Mark Hoyer’s analysis of the new liquid-cooled BMW R1200 GS, which he tested in South Africa, and I was suitably impressed by all the super new gadgets—the semi-active suspension and the multiple riding modes, ASC/ABS, etc.

Okay, it isn’t really the car of my dreams, because I am not eligible for the Car Of Your Dreams raffle. But BMW NA’s Matt Russell was at the BMW CCA Board meeting in Denver, where he announced that the M3 Club Special—the Grand Prize of the Car Of Your Dreams raffle—has rolled off the assembly line and made it to the docks, where it was loaded belowdecks, headed for its new home in America.

Family: Such an important word to remember in the dynamic whirlwind we call life. And it applies to so many aspects of our world: parents, spouses, children (or offspring, if you prefer, depending on how many diapers changed or college-tuition bills paid recently), in-laws, pets, and perhaps—just perhaps!—cars.
