Last week I announced, with a great deal of pride, that the BMW CCA Foundation had accepted Louie, my survivor ’72 2002tii and the subject of my book Ran When Parked, into their exhibit for “The Icon: 50 Years Of The 2002.”

We all share a love for the marque. I’m confident in speaking on everyone’s behalf when I say that; there’s no question about it. The roundel is representative of something we’re all undoubtedly looking for. For some, it represents a brand that is, and for others it’s representative of a brand that was.
