Who doesn't love great video of a BMW 2002, even if it is only for a few seconds? BMW has released a new commercial entitled "Torch" to be broadcast during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. It stars an Inka Orange 2002 symbolically passing the torch to one of BMW's newest sports coupes, the M235i.
Car and Driver's Alexander Stoklass described it well when he wrote, "It opens with the 2002 driving straight at a new M235i, which promptly begins reversing in the same direction. Some dramatic jockeying between the two cars is followed by a friendly headlight flash from the 2002, at which point the M235i whips a J-turn and leaves its forebearer behind, maybe to go hang out at a BMW CCA meeting or something." It sounds like Alexander might be a club member.
