The BMW i8 wasoriginally unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and is powered by a 1.5 liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo gasoline engine, generating 231bhp. The internal combustion unit is backed up by an electric motor, providing an extra 131 bhp. The total output produced is 362 bhp, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 4.4 seconds.
