I have read on several sites that if you delete the muffler and use a straight pipe, that the car will loose some of the low end from the power band.
If so, how do you determine what size of rear pipe to use to elimiante this problem?
I am probably wrong on the asumption that the header cats, the secondary cats and the resonators would cause much backpressure.

Why not just install a nice aftermarket exhaust (one that is engineered for car) and be done with it? Supersprint, UUC Motorwerks, Dinan, Active Autowerks; there is probably one out there you would like. If nothing else you save bundles of weight; the OEM exhaust is very heavy.

I have not found one that I really like the sound of, except the muffler delete.
Hoping someone will have the answer to the to the question of how much back pressure is required, i.e. what size rear pipe diameter.
    Thanks for your reply.
