Hello,I have a 2000 323ci I stopped at a garage yesterday (Saturday) because i heard something and i just wanted to have it checked. next thing i know they say nothing is wrong the pull it off the lift and give me the keys to leave. This is when it got ugly. I went in like normal to start my car and it wanted to start but wouldn't. I said to the man " what did you do to my bimmer" he said i didn't do anything.... he later said he reached into the car open the door because the door was sticking from the outside. What could be wrong? Did he cause the fuel to shut off when he reached in the car to open it?
possibly the alarm system? Some alarm systems can disable the car... or it could just be it was ready to fail. Otherwise it sounds like an electronics failure which means you are really going to need service... preferably from someone whom knows what they are doing. Chuck
