I just recently purchased a 2007 335xi with sport package and summer runflat tires. I am thinking ahead to winter and will need to purchase winter wheels and tires. Tires are no problem as I anticipate getting 17" Michelins but the wheels have me thinking too hard. I am not a fan of aftermarket wheels nor do I wish to purchase brand new OEM's. Therefore, I am thinking about going with reconditioned OEM wheels in 17" but I would like some input. What should I be looking for in reconditioned wheels? Is there any way to tell if they are not true just by looking at them? How do I know they are actual OEM's, is there a possibility that these so-called reconditioned wheels are counterfeit? Has anyone had a good/bad experience with the reconditioned OEM's? Thanks.
