   I'm looking for a set of winter wheels for my '06 Z4. Does anyone know if E39 wheels will fit my Z4? I've currently got 17" rims, 17X8 and have found a set of 17 X 8 E39 wheels for sale at a reasonable price. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

   E39 wheels typically have offset of 20mm, and Z4 wheels have offset of 29mm. That means that the E39 wheels are moved a bit outboard and could snag your fender lips.
