wheel offset

    Can anyone idetify these wheels, I was told i need spacers, what size spacers do I need? They're going on a '89 325is

    I'm gonna guess those rims are off an E36, but I don't know for sure. Look on the backside of the rim for any markings. The offset might have 'et' followed by a number, which would be the offset in mm. If you have an E30 wheel there, compare those numbers. You might need a spacer for both offset and wheel hub diameter.

    Looking at the tire size (195/60-15), I would say it's from an E36, but what confuses me is that I thought all E36's had 5-lugs?

    I didn't even look at the number of lug bolts - you're right, all E36's are 5 lug. Maybe those are some aftermarket Borbets that someone stuck a BMW sticker on the center -cap. In any case, there should be some markings on the backside of the wheels showing size and offset.
