how many of the mechanical/electrical/and interior components are interchangeable between the e32 and e34 cars? I've got a chance to pick up a relatively cheap '90 735 and I'm wondering how much of the car could be of use on my e34 535i.

    thanks

I don't know about interior bits, but pretty much the whole drivetrain and suspension is the same.

Lots and lots if they have the same engine. If it is cheap enough, I'd buy it. I think the front seats are the same, maybe the center console, the OBC, the clusters if the years are correct, tons of modules, actuators, etc.

thanks for the info - turns out it's a Canadian delivered car - besides the obvious km vs mph stuff were there any major differences that you know of?

IIRC all North American market cars (Canada included) are the same except for the speedo and such. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

It may have different headlights, but that and the speedo might be it.
