I am looking to get a new job that would require a 1 1/2 hour drive each way. I am wanting a nice ride of course. I will be buying something to drive rather than my 97 Z3. My price range would allow a nice used 5 series or new 3 series with few options. Any thoughts?

Always loved the e36 318 for the commute car (manual of course). Great on gas and cheap to maintain. In winter I just used a good set of snow tires and made it every where just fine.

I got the job and made a decision. Vic at Dreyer and Reinbold South in Indianapolis worked with me and helped me to get a nice 528ix. It is probably more car than I need for the commute, but I know the family will want to take it on trips rather than the Ford Expedition. It should serve my needs for a long time.
Anybody in the Indy area looking for a car, could not find a better guy than Vic to work with.
