What's even worse: Stevie D's numbers are notoriously conservative...
No more broken fog lights.
Cleaned all 4 ABS sensors on my MINI. Still have a trifecta of warning lights on.
front ABS sensor on order.
Hey, do non-BMWs count? Somewhere between the start of this @#$! thread and this point, I worked my fingers to the bone on my rally car and punted a few Subies around Eastern Washington...
Oh, and I actually DROVE THE ROADSTER one morning last week, all the way to the gas station and back...
I went on a buying spree FOR my car
Turner Motorsports Shim Kit
Vorshlag Wheel Stud Conversion Kit
Hawk HP+ Pads
Super Blue Brake Fluid.
Hardwired my Valentine 1 next to the rear view mirror, then did the same for my Dad
YOU HARDWIRED A VALENTINE 1 TO YOUR DAD?!
Forgot to mention.
Fixed the ABS/DSC/Run flat indicator on our MINI.
Total parts cost, $60.00 for an ABS sensor and once again our MINI doesn't care that the box doesn't say MINI on it.
Also had my front wheels of the ti balanced. No more shaking steering wheel.
Hey - whaddya expect from a guy who calls himself...
Changed an instrument cluster bulb in my E30. Well, actually both of them.
What a PITFA job for a lousy bulb.
Guess doing it in 95 degree weather doesn't help things.
Replaced the trunk plastic trim piece. Thanks, BMW of Atlanta!
Just an oil change, using lubro moly. Cleaned the interior. Inspected the brakes, air filters, etc. looks good for another 6500mi.
Finally admitted that I would NEVER GET AROUND to changing the oil and filter, the gearbox oil, the differential oil, the brake fluid, the coolant, the fuel and air filters, and adjusting the valves: You know, Service II.
So I paid Carl Nelson to do it!
Replaced the driver side cabin air filter housing. The mounting bracket for the under-hood alarm had broken so when the hood closed, the alarm switch was not pressed all the way down and so the alarm would, in a short time, go off.
From now on, I think I'll close the hood more gently and check the switch every time I open the hood to make sure it's not frozen.
Dry-washed the car. Clayed the trunk. Hit one of the dull places with Meguiar's 105. God Bless Father Meguiar.
Just gutted my interior on my 89 325i and detailed the outside. I gutted the interior because I am changing the color to black and have leather seats.
I washed the Z4 M Roadster on Monday evening and then spent all day Tuesday claying, machine polishing, and machine waxing the car. First detail since I bought the car four weeks ago. Next time I'm not going to do that when the thermometer reads 90 degrees!
Installed angel eye led bulbs. Easiest upgrade ever!
Jeez, that Z4 cleaned up beautifully. It even looks like it has a hard top!
Detailed my baby inside and out!
