my car 1984 325E Feb 84 build (early!) The windshield washers are not working. the pump seems to work (the hoses lurch about when switch is activated). Have tried vinegar solution in the bottle, not solution. (pun!) To me this suggest the squirt heads/nozzles are plugged. does this require new squirt heads/nozzles or can I take 'em off and clean them?
It is also possible the splitter under the hood insulation is plugged or broken. Other than that, try pulling the hoses in certain spots to see if there is any flow. The thing might not be moving any fluid at all.
