    An odd example of buyer's remorse.

    I would think someone who could afford a late model E-class could certainly afford the note on an M3. What's more, if he needed four-door accessibility, any BMW dealer could oblige them on a four-door E9x M3. My understanding is that the four door M3's are not exactly flying off the lot, and any dealer should be eager to get theirs off their lot.

    I'm sure Mercedes is proud to see their product associated with a competitor's.

    Naw, it doesn't. Illinois differentiates between a vanity plate and a personalized plate. Personalized plates have numbers at the end and are cheaper.

    Looks like the "3" on this plate is a throwaway character to save $$ every year on the renewal.
