My '08 328i coupe didn't come with a plastic wallet key and blank holder inside the glove box, as my '06 325i sedan did. Does anyone know if I can order a wallet key and holder? If not, what is everyone else doing to avoid the lost-remote hassle?
You have to check with the dealer. My 08 E93 does not come with a wallet key and it is not available for it.
The wallet kay and blank holder went the way of the flashlight (you may have a flashlight, but us 2009 LCI owners do not) and dodo bird. Chalk it up to BMW cost cutting. I never kept the wallet key on me anyway when I owned my 2006 E90. If properly equipped (i.e., with BMW Assist) these cars can be opened remotely, but don't lose your remote!
