Too much agony in waiting for the 2008 528i I ordered the first week of Feb 2008. I'm supposed to turn in my leased 2005 525i today but the new car has not arrived yet at the dealership. I'm very thankful to BMWFS because they extended the return date of my leased vehicle for another week free of charge

    Welcome!

    .
It's been too long in coming, but welcome to the forum.

    How's your new 528?

    Color, stick or auto, etc?

    Best.

The bimmer was delivered the end of March. The color is space gray metallic with auto transmission.

Everything is great except for the vibration between 60mph - 70mph and the intensity of vibration increases between 70mph - 80 mph. The first time I checked it in to the dealership for repair was at 900 miles. The service department said it had a flat spot on the tires so they just added pressure on the tires hoping the vibration would go away after sometime.

I had the car serviced again for repair at 1,600 miles because the vibration got even worse specially at 75 mph. This time they took off all four tires from the wheels, reinstalled, and did Road Force balancing. After that, everything became silky smooth at any speed.

My service advisor & the dealership did a fantastic job in taking care of my car.
