I use 3m strip caulk available at NAPA. I recomment thoroughly cleaning both surfaces and making sure that the caulk goes up to and even over the edges of the metal openings so that water cannot easily pool between the door and the vapor barrier.

FYI, dead links for vapor barrier

The above referenced links are dead. At least for me. I am using Firefox and that could be the problem. I will try with IE.

    Door seals

I have recently bought a 2003 530i and am experiencing the water leaks.
What does a dealer charge for this repair and would it be covered by extended warranty services.?
    Thanks
