Hey Folks, I have a 1991 325ic. I'm experiencing a leak in the trunk i.e. the tool kit. I'm thinking it might be a dried-out gasket on the trunk mounted, center brake indicator ? Any ideas how I can source or re=create a replacement? Also, any thoughts about other sources of the leak? Thanks Folks.
A little research and that seems to be a common source of water. The gasket is part of the assembly which is no longer available. I've seen rubber gaskets that you can cut to fit.
