I'm thinking about buying a 325i Wagon, but it doesn't have a tow hitch. I can have one installed for about $700. The hitch is rated for 1500 lbs, which is enough for me, but the dude told me that that doesn't mean that the frame of the car can take 1500 lbs. Hence my question: Can it? Update: This is an E46 (2004). That seems important.
