As a BMWCCA member I was told that I could rent tools and that the club would have sights where I could do that from. I'm looking for the cooling fan nut and w.p. pulley spanner wrench.
I've never heard of a formal CCA tool rental program (I doubt it exists). There is only an informal one where you find a member who lives near by and rent tools with donuts or beer depending on the time of day. The fan wrench is 32mm which is famously the same size as a nice inexpensive bicycle headset wrench. They are about $9 at a bicycle shop.
The Delaware Valley Chapter does have a tool rental program. So check with your local chapter. Also check your local Auto Parts store, many will rent special tools. +1 on the 32 mm wrench. Go to your local bike shop and buy one for about $15.
