Hi there ... wondering if E46 had a tilt steering option in states?

I'm a MINI driver looking for E46, but wasn't crazy about the lack of tilt on my E36. Anyone know what years, if any, the E46 US spec had it? Was it an option or standard?

    Thanks gang,

Hi, quite a few e46 models came with a tilt wheel feature. If you reach under the steering column, there is a recessed black lever that you pull out allowing the steering wheel to be raised or lowered. I hope that is helpful, Brad

    Thanks Brad!

One of my concerns was that the indentation is also there on E36 steering columns, but it was only offered as an option for European customers (go figure). My wife's old 2001 E36 didn't have it ... so I was curious.

    Thanks again Brad!

Hers didn't have it simply because she never had a 2001 E36. There is no such thing.
    Did you mean E46?

On my 04 E46 it also telescopes as well as tilts. Not sure if all tilt wheels were like this though.
