I bought an R53 in July 2006 and drive it for about 15 months before I decided to get out from under the payment and sold it. I moved into a 1998 E38 7 series, but it only took me about two months to really miss my MINI. So, in December, I purchased an R56 Cooper S. It is Chili Red with a black top and bonnet stripes and I've added a few graphics that have turned it into The Darth Maul MINI. I really love the R56 design changes and you've got to try out the Sport button feature with the manual six speed transmission. Definitely a adrenaline rush for those who enjoy the performance aspect of these vehicles.
