It is that time of the year again! I think this will be my 5th set of tires for the 540. Has anyone used Sumitomo HTR Z II's? I have spent a lot and spent a little on tires, and have not noticed any difference in wear, noise or dry traction. Tirerack has these on sale for $78 and $85, so you can't beat the price if they keep you on the road. Thanks for any advice you can give.
I actually just ordered the newer HTRZ IIIs for my E46 M3. From what I researched, the HTRZ IIs are a bit yestertech while the IIIs, while still very affordable, rated #1 in a recent Tire Rack comparo test. They've also gotten good customer reviews in various venues. Might want to give these a try.
