This forum has been a great source of help in maintaining my 02 540, sport package, 6-speed. I've owned the car since 05 (bought as a CPO). Over the years have had/fixed most of the common problems with these cars including radiator, water pump, clutch, auxillary fan, valve cover/valley pan gaskets, all suspension bushing as well as some major issues (alternator, power steering pump, ABS control module). Car now has 125K miles and is a summer driver only. Love the car and plan to keep it for as long as I'm able to drive. Current issue is oil leaking (seeping) from the upper timing case cover gaskets. Plan to get this resolved soon. Looking for suggestions/advice on what else should be done/checked while it's apart?
