I'm new to the forum. I owned two 2002's in the 70's and I got the bug again. I just got a 74 tii which had Behr AC when new. Everything is gone except the console, vents, and blower. Does anyone have a good source for AC kits for old cars like this?

If you wanted to start from scratch...this is the only "kit" i've seen out there. http://www.iceac.com/germanproducts.html . 2002 Haus was "supposed" have been working on an AC kit too...but I haven't seen anything. http://www.2002haus.com/ . If you wanted to repair it...I've seen these systems come up for sale at http://www.bmw2002faq.com . If you do go that route...most guys I know end up converting to a Sanden/Sankyo compressor.

Me, I just yanked mine out. Just roll the windows down and drive fast. Ha! :)
