As the incumbent RVP, my dedication is always to represent the interests and needs of the NA Region and the continued improvement of the Club. BMW CCA has been an integral part of my life since 1986. For 20 years, I have served as Chapter President, Vice President and as a Director on the Boston Chapter Board, and also 6 years as BMW CCA National Membership Coordinator. This is combined with 26 years of managerial experience with a national telecommunications company. Since the early 90's, I had been tracking my 1988 635CSi but have retired it from track duty as it has 233K miles, but continue to enjoy my track time with my 1988 325iX. I was responsible for establishing the NA Region Events Board that is hosted on the Club's website, to engender more community spirit among the chapters. I plan to continue conference calls with the Chapter Officers, to target specific areas of concern e.g. Membership Retention, Newsletter Efficiencies, Communication to Members, and Strengthening Relationships with Other Local Car Clubs. Three of my "How to Organize" social/technical event descriptions were selected by the Executive Director to be part of the Chapter Toolbox, which will be available to all chapters. The events, an Undercarriage Tech Session, a Fun Rally and a Wine Tasting have detailed steps to host the events. With my continued commitment to the BMW Foundation's Street Survival Schools, I am encouraging all the Chapters in the NA Region to participate. I am working to establish a 55+ Driving Program, similar to the Street Survival Schools, which would be an outstanding value to our Club members. As your North Atlantic Region VP, I have dedicated a substantial amount of time to the Club and I would be honored to continue to represent the NA Region.
