I would like to upgrade my 2007 6 series wheels. OEM size is 19 x 8.5 front and 19 x 9 rear. Can I install a set of 19 x 9 front without the tire (255 x 40) rubbing the front strut? If so, is there a solution? The rear set would be 19 x 10 (285 x 35) and I believe there is plenty of room. What are the downsides to this change?
