I’m considering switching from OE staged tire rims with run flats to 4 square non- run flats for (E70) 2013 X5 xDrive 50i with two rows of seats and M sport package Current tire rim sizing is: Front: 275/40 R20 Rear: 315/35 R20 Owners manual lists two 4- square options; two compact wheel options 255/55 R18 ; T 155/90D 18 113M and 255/50 R 19 ; T155 80 R 19 114 M Looking to confirm the 4 square wheel size options and compact wheels listed above would work without clearance, spedo or any other unintentional consequences. Also looking for recommended solution for one sized aftermarket compact wheel for current staged set-up when mounting non run flats Any help would be appreciated
Yes the non square options will work I have a lot of customers that run the 255/50/19 in the winter for snow wheels and tires. Also Bmw does make spare tire kit for the e70 that fits in the trunk.
