I'm planning to replace the muddy-sounding OEM speakers in my E46 '06 325Ci convertible. I'm interested in a crisp, clean sound; not a boombox on wheels. I'd appreciate any thoughts/guidance/recommendations others have had with upgrading their speakers.
bavsound is an great site. Perfest for stealth style installs. I went a total other route due it will be used for an friends audio shop on occasion( and I have a SoundStream sponsorship).Its close to 1600 watts total. 1100 in teh low end and 500 in the mids and highs.yes it is very loud. but VERY clear.I have done side work as a sound designer and sound engineer( also have written electronica for the last 15 years) and i have to hear every note.Even down to the SoundStream Scell thats installed.used to reproduce the transient notes that standard auto batteries fail to do.
