Does anyone have good advice on where to find good deals on current snell helmets? Any particular websites or deals for BMWCCA would be appreciated.
Helmets is one of those things your really need to try on in person. Fitment varies between manufacturers and even years to years.
It's ideal to try them on for best fitment if you can. Sometimes local racing supply places carry helmets. I've bought helmets directly from Bell, in the past they were flexible about exchanges, give 'em a call and ask to double-check if you can't find anyplace selling locally. Best to talk with a salesperson directly for sale and fitment too. If you wear glasses or large sunglasses (&/or want one somewhat lighter), look at the M4; otherwise the Sport looks like a reasonably priced option. Fitment I can figure out. I can go to a local shop and give a few a try. My weird head shape tends to fit Arai well. I looked the BMWCCA web site and I didn’t see any sponsor deals but that’s what I’m trying to figure out, do any suppliers or manufacturers have an arrangement?
I haven't heard of any, although Steven S. or anybody in the main office should know whether there is or not.
