Purchased the Optional Sirius radio for 495.00, then had to purchase the 75.00 installation kit and when I opened the boxes, no installation instructions. Found installation instructions for the 3 series on the internet and figured out the rest. After following up with the dealer, they faxed me the correct ones to verify the installation was correct. However, they also informed me that the car needed to be programmed to recognize the new Sirius radio and of course this was an addition service charge. I don't mind paying good money for good reasons, but this feels like I'm getting nickel and dimed to death. Is there any other way to activate this radio? or is this my welcome present to BMW
