Check with Peake. Turner Motorsport, Bavarian Auto and others sell them. The Peake website link is below. Shop around for the best deal.

    Reset tools are fun!

If you are just using it for resetting the service lights, you may want to get in touch with your chapter contact and see who has one you can use. There are usually many floating around... we bring ours to meetings and events for the general membership to use. If you have multiple vehicles throwing codes you may want to purchase one. We ended up doing that after several times to a friends house to use his.

Although one can never have too many tools.... :D

You shouldn't need a reset tool for the 2001 and newer BMWs for just the service interval reset.
I am not positive this will work with the E90s with the new style "key"
Try this when you want to reset-
    BMW insp. reset

    - Iginition OFF (POS 0)

    - Press and Hold the trip odometer button while turning key to position 1 (ACCESSORY)

    - Keep the button depressed (about 5 secs.) until you see "Oil Service" or "Inspection" with "Reset" or "Re" in the display

    - *Note: On vehicles with "High" cluster, you will also see the amount of fuel (in litres) remaining until next service

    - Press the button again and hold for approx. 5 secs. until "Reset" or "Re" flashes

    - While the display is flashing, briefly press the button again to reset the Service Interval. After the display has shown the new interval you should see "END SIA" for about 2 secs.

Note that if the "Reset" or "Re" does not flash, then you have not met the minimum consumption level and cannot reset.
