Anyone out there ever bought a service manual on cd ordvd from ebay? good? bad? so so? I have a Haynes manual now and not impressed.
Just get the Bentley manual and you will not be sorry. I don't like manuals on CD because you cannot bring them to the car without printing them. If you have a laptop, it will get dirty while you work. Plus, it is easier to read a paper manual on the can while you plan your next move.
I agree with Paul. My manuals are dog eared and have notes written all over the place. And, yes, are really dirty.
+6000. Get a Bentley. I've bought the TIS system for my car but it doesn't work very well. Naturally it arrived on a homemade burned CD with handwritten BMW TIS on it. The Bentley has lots more useful information.
