When recently acquiring a 2006 330i/sports package, I was aware that they came equipped with RFTs. After reading upteen threads on RFT pros and cons, and after reading a number of threads about carrying spare compact tire kits vs. using slimy stuff vs. carrying a full sized wheel, I have decided to carry a wheel the same size as the front, being 18x8. With one, should I get a flat in miles to nowhere, I want to keep driving without worrying about the limited miles of a donut spare.

So, I started shopping. I came across one link, originalwheels.com, which advertised an OEM 7 spoke identical to the ones on my 330i for $220. Seems too good to be true when compared to what I see on other sites.

Has anyone bought from this site? Other suggestions? Anyone want to sell me one of these?

    Thanks

I'm not familiar with them. I have experience with Wheel Collision Center in PA. If you are referring to Style 162 8x18" wheel with 34mm offset $220 is a good price. WCC wants $295 for a like new/refinished one.

My guess would be they are replicas, not OE. But for a spare tire that should theoretically never be used, that might be fine.
