I am stymied trying to pop the last bit of the outer bead of my Blizzak snow tires on my X3/5 17" OEM 5-spoke wheels. I've lubed them like crazy, unseated and centered and reseated the bead countless times, pried on them every which way, and finally pumped them up to 70 psi (dangerous, I know) and still the last few inches of the outer bead will not pop up over the barrel hump and into place. Tire Rack confirms that these wheels are notoriously difficult to seat, and could only suggest more pressure inside a safety cage. Any other ideas?
