I apologize in advance if this is simplistic or frequently asked question. I am planning on changing the oil on my 2010 535i x-drive and I do not know how I reset the oil change status on the i-drive. Can someone tell me how to do this? Thank you in advance as well.
Don't know about yours, but on some vehicles Code: BMW TIS - Resetting the oil service interval and inspection and brake fluid renewal interval Resetting the oil service interval and inspection and brake fluid renewal interval - Turn the ignition key to the "0" position. - Press and hold the trip meter button (in the instrument cluster) and turn the ignition key to "1". - Hold the button pressed for approx. 5 seconds longer, until the following appears in the display: "Oil service" or "Inspection" with "Reset" or "Re" - Press the button again and hold for about 5 seconds until the display "Reset" or "Re" flashes. - While the display is flashing, press the button briefly to reset the service interval. After the display has briefly shown the new interval, it will change to the brake fluid renewal interval. The following will appear in the display: Clock symbol and "Reset" or "Re" - Press the button again and hold for about 5 seconds until the display "Reset" or "Re" flashes. - While the display is flashing, press the button briefly to reset the brake fluid renewal interval. After the display has briefly shown the new interval, it will change to the following display for about 2 seconds: "END SIA" Is it an E60/E61 or F10/F11?
