I'm a man of little wealth and lots of taste:). My name is Mike and I have a problem. It's called

    OBSESSION

and this is my new to me 01 Z3M Coupe, picked up in August 08. It is my first and probably only BMW. It will be cherished and enjoyed for a long time. Nice to be here. It's a long story.

I like your car; nice color too. :) I don't _fit_ in it, (even without a helmet), but I like it! Welcome to the forums & the 'CCA!

    Probably Only BMW

An attractive colour, but never say never except for diamonds when it comes to "Only".

I personally prefer a ragtop. Unless you intend to race your new love, your hard top will not do much for your improved coefficient except the obvious 1) quiet, 2) keeps more weather out, and 3) less susceptible to drunks sticking knives in a soft top.

We have three in the driveway, two e34s which have been traded in years ago, yet I still feel incomplete because I have not owned this car! I still have mCoupe lust, although I thought the 1983 Euro coupe purchase would help eleviate this. No such luck....

    Welcome to our nightmare!

    635CSI v. M Coupe v. 3.5 CSAlpina

I always liked the 635CSI, but it was no match compared to the M6 and particularly my 1975 3.0CSA converted to a 3.5CS (vin: 4320747) which I converted from 180 HP to 300---and why I also skipped buying an M6.

The M Coupes were nice, but the older ones in my opinion, were prettier than stock, but no match for their corresponding Alpina models.

I have avoided Dinan, particularly the S1 because you get points for floor mats, etc., which is a bloody joke.

The James Bond M Coupe was a fast opportunity, but once again I disliked the disproportionately WWII toothy Jap grill that personified both the enemy7 and helped sell War Bonds. Similarly, I think the Z4 is too radical for my taste. The Z8 should have been the Bond car

My 2000 528iT Sport vin is: WBADP6348YBV65172, and as stated previously---I have had installed the OEM CD Player and threw away the silly cassette, which I believe makes my 528iT one of one nationwide.

And finally, my most favourite car is the M5, almost any M5 and/or its bigger Alpina brother.......
