My wife's 03 525iTs front passenger door is locked and will not open. When I pull on the latch from the inside the lock plunger moves up and down but nothing happens. There is no sound from the door when the lock is cycled. I need to remove the door panel but for obvious reasons I need to open the door first. Does any one have any advice for opening the door or removing the door panel without destroying it while it's closed??
Problem Solved I pulled the top of the door panel off then located the door control module and gave it a few good thumps through the door panel. I hit the door lock/unlock button and it came up slowly…
Kinda tuff when you have to find these solutions for yourself. Wish I could be of some help but lucky to have not had to face this one yet.
