I have a 2008 128 base with the 17x7 wheels, I recently purchased a set of older style 44 17x8 wheels from a 2000 323. Since the wheels are 8 inches wide I will need 225/45/17 tires instead of the stock 205/5017 tires. Has anyone used 225 tires on their 128? I assume these will fit without rubbing because the offset is the same 47mm.

I am also wondering about the TPMS sensors. I assume these wheels were made before TPMS sensors were standard. Are there sensors that will fit these wheels and will they work with the 128 monitoring system.

Any information and help would be appreciated.

As far as I know, these days the sensors are built into the valve stem (or vice-versa), so they SHOULD fit yer wheels...
