Club Host – Green Mountain Chapter OktoberFAST Regional Event
    Dates – October 5th & 6th, 2012
Location – The Grafton Inn & Pond, Grafton, Vermont
(Formerly the Old Tavern at Grafton)
Schedule – On Friday October 5th a “Meet & Greet” will be held at the Homestead Barn located across from The Grafton Inn. From 3:00pm until 8:00pm we will host the registration for Saturday’s concours and distribute gift bags to all pre-registered guests. This year’s gift bag will include a commemorative dash plaque, local area gift coupons and raffle ticket. Saturday’s event will begin at 8:00am and close at 4:00pm. The car show will be set at Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center. All German makes have been invited and will be judged by their peers for various prizes in class as well as special awards given by the Green Mountain Chapter Board. Mike Miller will host a Q&A at the Recreation Center from 12:00 to 2:00pm.
A FREE shuttle bus will be offered to those who would like to visit the Manchester Outlet Stores in Manchester and will leave Grafton at 10:00am and return at 3:00pm. A discount coupon for lunch will be included.
Host Site – The Grafton Inn is part of the Windham Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the rural areas of Vermont. The Inn and surrounding community are members of the National Register of Historic Places and Towns. The generosity of the Innkeepers assures us of a special and profitable event.
Charity Affiliation – OktoberFAST has always donated a portion of it’s proceeds to a local area food bank. In 2012 the Townshend Community Food Shelf will again be the recipient. A minimum of $500.00 is always donated.
OktoberFAST moved to The Grafton Inn in 2011. This move was precipitated by the need to promote a more cost effective event. We look forward to a more profitable and well attended show than 2011 as we are not, we hope, dealing with the travesties of the 2011 flooding due to Hurricane Irene. The generosity of the Tavern and Windham Foundation has given us the opportunity to hold this event at a nominal cost to the Chapter.
INFORMATION for the Event is available by e-mailing the Chapter President George Ohlweiler at info@vtbmwcca.org
